I'm working on a music program with BlitzBasic ( www.blitzbasic.com) where it loads a picture of my computer science teacher to the screen, and he dances to whichever song you load. Anyone else do something like this? |

It's still under heavy work. I've got to figure out how to interact his movements with the music stream, sort of like the Ambience thing on your Windows Media Player.
It's tough when you have no idea what you're doing. lol ;D

What about Fourier transforms?
(That involves taking a sound wave and splitting it into its component frequencies)
(... I have no idea how it's done, but I know it's used in mp3 files to filter out sounds we can't hear)
Anyway, then maybe define a frequency range within which a certain thing happens.
