www.jimmyr.com/blog/hearingloss.htmlSo, where does your hearing cut out? By that, I mean what is the highest frequency you can hear at (according to this)? After 15000, I couldn't hear anything but a popping sound (which was probably my cheap headphones).

16000, and using QB's SOUND statement I get up to about 15600. I couldn't hear any of the low frequencies on the site but maybe that's a speaker thing

Maybe. Low frequencies are often the last things you lose.
I blame mine on my newfound appreciation for metal (all sorts). Sure, I can listen to it "normally", but that runs counter the ideas of the music, if you ask me.
Either that or the fact that I will (quite literally) turn my music up whenever someone's bothering me. Since I use mostly headphones, the other person really doesn't know (which is the point. I laugh at them while they think I'm listening). If I could get rid of Brian (annoying kid I go to school with), I probably wouldn't have such "great" hearing loss (anyone under 25 is supposed to be able to hear the full spectrum of sounds, up to 20khz+).
