There are mouse routines around on various sites. 1 method is using call absolute, the other is with call interrupt/interruptx.
Either should work with PDS just fine.

No, CALL ABSOLUTE should have problems if it uses strings to store the assembly. (You'll have to use SADD [String ADDress] instead of VARPTR, and then it will also work.)

Not a clue what either of those do. I've been doing this for 5 years, started when I was 8, and I still have no ideas at all about those.

Not surprising, as CALL ABSOLUTE calls a routine in a different language (machine language... the language the CPU responds to) CALL Interrupt basically calls a DOS function (CALL ABSOLUTE does it the "long way", for QB versions that don't support Interrupts).
