Way to go Ildurest!
The stuff you mentioned is a bit far, and knowing my luck I'd be arrested for it (I'm arrested nearly every month, so it shows you what childish fun you can have when bored). I've already done some pretty stupid things, including stopping on the stairs (holding up a good line of people) so that I can "watch the pretty bugs fly" (obviously I'd use that in combination with slurred speech so it seemed like I was drunk).
Another example happened at a business meeting (well, it was sort of the Canadian version of the FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), I forget what its called because it just seems like FBLA to me), when I decided it would be funny to walk up to some guy in a suit and ask him if he could tie my (already tied) tie. He looked at me strangely and I kept insisting that it was untied. Needless to say, it ended with the guy untying and re-tying my tie.
I know plenty of intelligent people. The trouble is that genii get tired of being genii and start looking for simpler fun. There's only so many chess tournaments you can own at before you decide to play poker. Also, at everyone's core, simple fun awaits to make itself known. Who can pass up the opportunity to push each other around in a shopping cart at the local mega-mart (especially when its on a hill that ends in a spiffy cliff (relax, there's a guard rail at the bottom and someone always waiting at the bottom to catch the cart a good 10 metres before the rail, and the cliff drops only a metre or so))?
As far as my friends go, I'm probably the smartest of the lot, but a good many are a close second. Furthermore, you really don't need intelligence to have fun. Sometimes all that is needed is a good simple laugh or two and you're feeling better than you would after completing a massive project.
I like insta-money. Still waiting for that feature from my bank... {balance = $0}
