I'm getting a scratch plate for my Epiphone SG Special w/cherry finish! Holy expletive! Normally, an Epiphone SG Special w/cherry finish looks like this... But when I add this... It'll look like this... Man, for $25 bucks, I can have a guitar that looks like Angus Young's. Well, his has trapezoid inlay, and four knobs, but at least mine'll be closer! I've really gotten into modifying my guitar lately. My band has a gig, and I hope the plate comes before the dance. My band, Waiting 4 Dave, is actually headlining a dance. Sure, it's only a 7th and 8th grade dance, but so what? I'm an 8th grader!

I see them. Maybe your settings are misset. Or your connection is too slow to get them quickly enough. Or something.

I'd just like to say that the topic is straying away from the most important thing in the world... My guitar! I love my guitar. Her name is Lola. Her tones range from subtle and sweet to mean and harsh. I know her inside and out. I frequently take her apart, just to put her back together.
I realize now that this sounds kind of obsessive. That's because it is.

Yep. If there was ever a time when this was needed, it's now:
Jk, its ok to like material things, just so long as you don't completely give up a social life or start putting Lola in front of anything else (grades are always important, no matter how close you are to "making it big").

I never study, I never worry about grades, and yet I pull straight As. I don't even bribe the teachers with drugs, which actually works in Myrtle Point.
And let's be honest - Music isn't really a material thing. To me and many other musicians, it's larger than life. You've heard of people because of music, but can you name one crazily popular (living) mathematician? Music is my life.
I play... Guitar Bass Drums Bassoon Clarinet Piano/Keyboards
And I can pick something up pretty quick. I only started playing guitar in August, but am now the lead guitarist for my band. Not to toot my own horn... Okay, to toot my own horn, I'm pretty [expletiving] good. I've already started Metallica, Green Day, AC/DC, Nirvana, Vertical Horizon, etc. covers. With my DigiTech RP200a Artist, I sound exactly like whatever I'm covering. It's cool.
Any other musicians out there? Whaddya play? E-Mail me at
