Hi. I forgot my password, but I'm homeloaf. I was wondering if anybody out there in QB Land was familiar with this problem in Windows 98. I run a DOS program, and when I quit, I get a mouse and a black screen, and sometimes I get a message box that has this for the details part: WINOLDAP caused an invalid page fault in module <unknown> at 0000:825f86ac. Registers: EAX=806dcae4 CS=00bf EIP=825f86ac EFLGS=00010206 EBX=806b4d5c SS=00b7 ESP=806b4d38 EBP=806b4d5c ECX=e0981000 DS=00b7 ESI=6440404e FS=00b7 EDX=6440404e ES=00b7 EDI=e0981000 GS=203f Bytes at CS:EIP: 8b 46 10 85 c0 74 10 50 87 a8 02 00 00 50 e8 Stack dump: 82600140 806a3916 82600159 6440404e 8059d170 e0981000 e09967a0 82600140 202f017a 00000000 0000a3ae 1d9f0016 1d470000 1db725d8 00200140 04000000 I tried to run this by somebody at Microsoft, but I couldn't find a place to send it. Microsoft can be poopy at times. Thanx to all who reply, Homeloaf.

I'd guess it to be a problem in Winoldap itself (which, as I gather, is 98's DOS Virtual Machine), if it's happening for all DOS progs... see if you can get it off the windows CD or download a copy off the internet. Otherwise I'm stumped.
I think I can also reset your password if you need it... but your name may have been changed to all-lowercase so try that first.
Good luck...
