I don't work with libraries much, but one way to make one is to go to the RUN menu and click Make Library. (Assuming you have a capable version of QuickBasic) Libraries basically let you have SUBs and FUNCTIONs stuffed into an external file, and then you use a .BI file to put the SUB and FUNCTION declarations in. Just make a file and put DECLARE SUB.... etc, in it, and save it as somethin.bi To use the library you will need to put the QLB file in QB's command line, e.g. QB /L mylib.qlb
Or if you've made me type for nothing, and you just wanted to use CALL INTERRUPT or CALL ABSOLUTE for mice or something, then you simply start QB with QB /L You can probably put this in QB's shortcut (the "Cmd Line" field) but remember it will make your programs somewhat larger and slower so only start QB with the library when you need to.
