Hello everyone, my name is deonn and I was wondering if someone could help me write a simple program that repeats a question such as "what is the capital of Texas" until my classmates get it right and if it is the wrong answer the program should display "not the right answer" when the incorrect answer is given. Is this even possible?

Don't underestimate QBasic. It can be used to make anything from 3D maze games to powerful accounting programs. And funnily enough, many things that are useful to the program you're writing are just as useful in those sorts of programs too. Though there are many perfectly valid ways to achieve what you want, the easiest would be based on this: DO ... LOOP UNTIL ... You will also need to use PRINT, INPUT and have a basic understanding of variables. If you need help with any of these things, you can post a reply to this thread. You may also look up the keywords in QB help, and perhaps have a look at my tutorial: aleks.budzynowski.info/wiki/quickbasic/tutorial/indexWelcome to the message board! Ildûrest
