Printing in colors using DOS programs are rarely done... because of the damn EC (ESCAPE CODES). As you might know or maybe not, each printer "Speaks" a different Lenguage, the so called EC are instructions that specific printer interpretes diferently. a chr$(27) followed by specific characters, you can go to the site of the brand of printer you have to look for the EC's, the problem is that since each brand of printer (and even each model) has different EC's you would have to make routines for each printer ... and it would not work in any other printer. Anyway, there is a way to print form DOS in many Styles fonts colors and sizes, go to WWW.DLLprint.com or WWW.DOSprint.com im sure it will fill your needs because it uses only a little bit of Conventional memory, so it leaves space for your program. Be aware that "DLLPRINT" and "DOSPRINT" are commercial programs and you will have to pay for registering your copy. you can try the demo (fully functional ) and i hope this information can help you, im sure it will.

If you have an Epson ink jet, the codes are probably ESC/P2. You can get them from the Epson site. They are not displayed - so you have to email them, and they'll give you the link.
I got them in the past but my computer crashed and I lost them, so I can't give you the link.
