If you mean from the windows clipboard, here's how. (though I usually use EDIT the MS-DOS editor).
after copying to the clipboard,
open edit if not already open. Position the cursor where you want the text.
right-click on the tray for edit and go to edit then paste.
That's it.
Now there's no easy way to go the other way from qb/edit to windows.
Note: you may have to do some editing and there is probably a limit of how much you can paste at one time. Sometimes the text will be tabbed to that lines progressively get farther to the right; but this can be just edited.

Yes there is, buff.
QBasic.exe BASfile to ClipBoard -------------------------------
If it is a short bit you want to copy, then do this
1) Ensure you are NOT in full screen mode. (Press Alt+Enter to switch)
2) Click the icon at the left hand side of the title bar. Select Edit->Mark
3) Drag the mouse across the text you want to copy (you can only select rectangles of text).
4) Press ENTER (rather than ctrl-C)
[Under the window's properties you can also set Quick Edit mode- which means this kind of marking occurs automatically whenever you use the mouse - if you want to disable this, disable Quick Edit mode]
OR-- When saving your file, save it as whatever.TXT (must end in .txt) Then find it with Windows Explorer and double click on it - 'twill open in Notepad.
You can also open a notepad window and drag a .BAS file into it, or, in notepad's "Open" box, type *.* in the File Name, press enter, then select your program.
To "Save As" a .BAS file from notepad, you simply type the name in quotation marks, e.g. "progname.bas".
