I'm not sure why you'd want to, as QB1.1 is freely downloadable online. As far as loading it on, I'd backup all your files, as well as the Registry before trying it. It should work, although you have to be careful not to accidentally load any old dlls or Registry keys while trying it.
Like I said, with it freely available online for under 1MB, I don't see why you'd want to use the one off your 95 disk.

Keep quiet, Earl. It's extremely difficult to modify the registry or some DLLs by copying a DOS program off a CD, even by accident. Windows 95 isn't going to install itself without your permission. True if someone has no idea how to even browse a CD's contents, they shouldn't try this. But otherwise, the risk is minimal. YES, you can copy QBasic from your Windows 95 CD. But I would suggest you try for QuickBasic 4.5 or 7.1, as available at www.brisray.com/qbasic/qdload.htmTechnically speaking they're illegal, but Microsoft hasn't cared about QB for years.

I was talking about QB1.1, which is free online (MS used to host it online until they decided it wasn't worthy of being hosted).
The information I wrote assumed that Otto has practically no experience with working with the Win 95 install disk (although I did make some assumptions about downloading stuff, however that was for the sake of brevity).
