Is there a compiler out there that could turn my Qbasic programs into stand alone .exe files. if there is can anyone give me a link to it. Thxs

I thank QB 4.5 can make .exe, but I don't know how to work it. When I downloaded QB 4.5 off this site it didn't work right I don't trust this site anymore, But I did find QB 4.5 on it. www.qbcafe.net/portal/index.shtml

You can find QB4.5 around on the internet though it's technically illegal to download it without permission of MS or whomever has the rights to it.
Making an exe with qb4.5 is easy.
The IDE is very similar to Qbasic.
From the Run Drop down menu - select make exe give it a name (default is of course the name of the bas)
tell it whether it's to be a standalone or use brun45 runtime library and click ok.
