:'( I need help. I am trying to make a program where the only way you can exit out of it is control pause break. I need the program to detect if control alt delete is being pressed. And if they are being pressed, for it to do nothing.

This can not be done in BASIC under Windows. It is Windows' responsibility to allow the user to end any running process, otherwise a buggy or malicious program could take over the computer. And one way to let this happen is through the Ctrl-Alt-Delete keyboard combination, which is always handled by Windows and never supplied to any program.
While Windows is far from perfect, it does pretty well in this area. I don't think there is any way to do this that doesn't involve modifying the system in some other way.
DOS is another matter. You can hijack any part of DOS with enough work. But I expect you're not running pure DOS so I won't go further down this interesting little avenue.
And in future please start a new thread for a new question.
